International volunteering opportunities with YFU
International Group Leader
YES - Young Europeans’ Seminar
YES is a one-week seminar at the end of an exchange year (end of June) in a European country. Young people on exchange reflect on their year of exchange and think about the situation after their return. In addition, they discuss a European theme and come together to simulate a parliament.
The atmosphere at YES is very friendly, as around 500 people spend time in a jovial and warm atmosphere. 100 volunteers from all over Europe look after the 400 participants. You could also be an IGL (International Group Leader) who supports foreign students from their host country at YES, accompanies young French people and runs workshops.
Program Chaperon
Every year, the association's volunteers have the opportunity to support young people in programs during the summer in the United States. Departures to the United States take place in August. International Trainers
The International Office, on behalf of the European body of YFU, EEE-YFU, organizes seminars or training throughout the year for employees of YFU offices but also volunteers.
